Erik will not be around for a bit

I work with Eric, and he is dictating this message. I included his photos

This morning while driving to work a drunk man driving in the opposite direction decided to make a turn in front of him and caused a low speed accident.

Important to know is Erik is okay. He was admitted to the hospital.

He should be okay but will be out of contact for at least a short while and wanted everyone to know.

Yet another update.

Thank you all for such warm words and thoughts.

There is no bone damage, and so far I'm feeling pretty good.

Unfortunately,due to a few tests, and some of my own issues, they're concerned that I may have received some nerve damage. Only time will tell.

I'm released, and I was allowed to return to a normal routine at work and home. But my reflexes/speed are seriously deficient at the moment, and they have me on medication (Where I normally take none.) Including a muscle relaxant and a steroid.

It's hard to do the things I used to do, but I do seem to be improving.

MRI results aren't back yet. But last night I had to go back to the ER because the medications they put me on about put me into a figurative coma. I told them to ramp up the Therapy sessions and to take me off as much of the meds as possible.

Left side limbs hurt like hell now.

But hey, I have feeling in them.

I can walk. I can somewhat type. And I can almost play my guitar again.

I'll take that rather than a couple of lifeless limbs.

I am going in for follow-up.

If substantial progress hasn't been made. I'll be looking at surgery.
