New Player Questions

Alright well I am a long time Avlis player, never really dabbled so much on Hala but I am motivated to do so now. Now I would not want you to think my motives were shallow, but in the name of transparency I wish to play a Shadow Dragon disciple follower of Tiamat. My understanding is that this is virtually unheard of to get. I have not created a character for it as per-wiki instructions. I am currently doing research on Tiamat and am wondering if she is an allowed deity to follow because she is not listed on the wiki. I am also looking for any advise I may find on the subject of creating a successful character application. My motives for creating this character (other than wanting to play an awesome Dragon Disciple) is the perpetual IC torment of a fellow CoPaP player whom I have already discussed this with in breif. The Dragon Disciple PRC needs you to send a background and information about your character to the PRC Manager account before you create the character. Someone with some actual authority may correct me on this or clarify, but Dragon Disciple is considered quite a powerful PRC by the team and is only given to players who have a history of strong RP on the server.

Tiamat has been used in DM plots before and a few Gith characters have claimed to be followers. So she certainly has a presence in the lore. Likely she isn’t’ on the wiki because so few players are interested in her that no one has been bothered to add her in

It’s good that you have posted some questions up first as creating the character THEN asking for the PRC is an almost sure fire way to be told no. I think the best thing for you to do from here is to PM the PRC Manager account asking what we would need from you to seriously consider you for the PRC

along with a post of the background of the character, also give a bit of background about yourself and your time on avlis. What chars you play, how long you've played there, what your plans are for this character, etc.
