The last two aren't exactly true. If written in a language unknown to one; I'd say that fails compatability. And I have throw some against the wall that exploded into a massive mess.

Oh my heart skipped a beat or two once when one BIG and HEAVY dictionary fell to the floor from the desk I was working on... Guy walks in the room as the book fell, he picked it up by the cover and flipped it closed in his hand before putting it back on my desk. I stammered a thanks then sighed of relief that the book was still in one piece...
