They should be working as normal now. The DNS redirects that were changed temporarily are now restored. While they should have worked for everyone since about 5pm EST yesterday, if they still weren't for you, try again.

Was going to get Jayem back for Tower meeting. Ysgard and Hala not in history and direct connect attempt stuck at "attempting to log in". Looks like they are down.

Just tried to log Egil in and got the same result O well, the more sleep tonight! Rudiki sez to say that Lexy is on islands and will log on in awhile if anyone wants to meet up there (but a little later than Tower meet time, fixing dinner first.)

Ysgard and Hala indeed looked offline to me when I checked ~20 minutes ago.

Hala has been up so long, the uptime counter has gone negative. Going to give it a kick.

I can connect to Hala, but when I try to connect to Ysgard, I get a 'portal failed' message when I try in game or a 'server timed out' when trying to direct connect. I was able to connect Tuesday and yesterday without a problem.


edit: sorry I'm unable to join the Tower meeting tonight because of this problem. I've tried restarting my laptop, NWN, and changing my port number (per a suggestions from DiscordAvlis group), but w/out success.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately the server is down and Melinda and Rade from Avlis are stuck on Arkaz. I hope the servers will be back up soon for them to come home!..

I am aware of the issue, and am working on it.

Guys, please, I don't need 6 different sources reporting the same thing. I got a ping on IRC, a report in IRC, a message on Discord, a PM here, this post here, and even people reporting in the Avlis chats where it doesn't belong.

Now that said, I realize that it isn't clear what to do about this. So, for right now, a message directly to me on Discord is the fastest way to get a hold of me.
PM notifications don't always arrive in my e-mail box as quick as they should.
Dinging me on mIRC ever since I went to Windows 10 is almost completely useless. It often doesn't make a sound, and never flashes at me anymore.
Talking in Avlis' channel looking for help is not where I look to find out of there are any issues. Keep it in the right channels please.

Also the big one: The entire Hala team has access to my personal cellphone number. It is there and posted so that yes, you *can* call to report things. If it is international, you can use the provided e-mail address in the same post to text me using your e-mail client.
