Hi all!
So, lately I've had Einar doing more research than usual.
(He'd prefer to be *experimenting* ). Anyway, just want to make sure I'm handling it in an acceptable manner:
*If I find it as IC information in game, that knowledge is (Einar's) to keep and do with as he pleases.
(Mostly thinking IG books and object/creature descriptions, but also anything Einar directly hears or experiences.)
*If I want information about (past event,) or (IG organization/artifact) (and assuming I fail to find solid IG info IG)... Post my intent to research in a thread or threads about Libraries? (i.e. TOIW, Mage School) and wait for a DM to get back to me? Post in such threads, then scour the forums and wiki, and claim the knowledge as my own?
Umm.... I'd appreciate some guidance before I default to the later, lol.

Re: Proper Research Procedure
Scouring the forums and Wiki sounds good; there are probably piles of old notices becoming mildewed in almost disused storerooms somewhere. Not sure how well waiting for a DM to get back to you would work as the people who know more have generally left or rarely check the forums, and when I tried a search for "white star" I didn't learn much from the Team-only forums. And nothing that was not "it is not generally known".

Ok. Thanks _JM_!
As I said, just wanted to confirm that my plan was reasonable first.
