(Rewrite now that I've actually gotten some sleep)
Ok. So, apparently one of my characters is illegal due to possession and use of undead creating "negative plane avatar.". Is this correct?
If so, then I do not feel this fact was made adequately clear *before* I built the character. Therefore, if this is so, I would like to rebuild the character so she is not in violation of the apparent "physics" of the world.
Thanks.

Re: Undead Questions
The answer from me is I don't know. Not sure why the character would be illegal when there have been NPC Necromancers. That the "undead" is a "negative plane avatar" suggests, to me, a link to a plane of negative energy, which would counter the effects of Ysgard and Hala and allow it to survive. So I think the character sounds fine and there is a semi-plausible reason why undead summoning would work for her, but I could easily be contradicted.
If Rodia is illegal and a rebuild was authorised then I'd see two options. One would be to see if the creature customiser would work to remove Death Domain and replace. The other would be to take all Rodia's stuff, put that on a fresh character, and then level that character up. The first might run into problems with the checks for valid character and the second would zero her progress with various quests and suchlike. I know when Jayem got delevelled that Silverdragonams said they didn't do bic edits, which was for the same reason of changing Jayem's domains.
So again, I don't know. Not sure what exactly would be possible in terms of rebuilds.

Re: Undead Questions
Be careful not to attach meaning of lore Learned about the positive energy plane of ysgard with somehow Anybody telling you your character was illegal, because that was -not- the conversation.
she's no more illegal then a necromancer or shaggy's realm or a mage being able to summon negative energy spells. Technically, she's even more kosher on Ysgard because her Diety has direct control over death and underworld domains. So that domain and it's power is providing the source of negative energy to your cleric as it should be from her goddess. The key point Takeaway is: Your "source" is not from Ysgard!
Her whole calling is to corrupt Ysgard, so the fact that she is providing energy to source undead from her home plane is exactly perfect. You're role playing that cause for that goddess so you are not only legal on the plane, you are doing what we have actually asked clerics to do which is be the "forefront gospel message" for their Diety!
Now… If you were playing a Cleric of, say, Frigga and had taken The death domain… Then we would have a problem.

Re: Undead Questions
Ok. I misremembered... I guess.
Seem to recall the line "you better be careful if dm catches you using undead."
Hence my concern.
Thanks for clarifying. I really like Rodia!
(Though... Wish she was strong enough to explore and find "evil" specific resources if any exist?). Or are those for Evil Players?

Re: Undead Questions
Context is king.
Generally speaking negative energy in a positive energy plane can definitely irk certain gods, characters, and NPCs...like most of them. So yes, Tread carefully
As for your other question, as far as I know that is find out in game !!

Re: Undead Questions
There are class specific forums you can join. There is one race-specific forum (Drow).
Otherwise, the "tavern" posts for Shattered Burg are considered OOC if you're "good" or not there In Game.
Is that what you mean?
edit: removed image as I couldn't get it to work

Re: Undead Questions
Ok... Can't see properly at due to snapped glasses...
So, accidentally sent my reply as a pm.
(Grrrr...))
I was referring to unspecified form resources for players of evil characters Rudiki mentioned.
Which, as I do indeed have an evil character, I desire access to.
