I miss hala

I heard this part of a song on the radio yesterday:

A man walks down the street
It’s a street in a strange world

He doesn’t speak the language
He holds no currency

He is surrounded by the sound
The sound
Cattle in the marketplace
Scatterlings and orphanages

He sees angels in the architecture
Spinning in infinity

It reminded me of Malin's time in Hala. The first time I went to Hala, I was dodging the plague in elysia and really had no idea of where I was going, other than "to depart elysia, through this portal thingie". I threw away most of my possessions (maybe 80% of my net worth, including all my money) in case they were contaminated and sterilized the rest. Walking around Hala with little gear and few friends was an interesting experience.

Thinking of that made me wish that there was an Avlis-Hala portal that I knew about. I have too many alts on disconnected worlds already, so starting another one really isn't feasible, but I wish that I could visit Hala again.

Heh...maybe by dying, (after all we got to Ysgard that way in the past) but i fear for a druid of Cha'reth it would be a teeny weeny bit too much of an alignment shift needed to pull that off...

I mean crap! I walk around here listening to people thiking its the end of the world when some city is hit by plauge or there are steam elementals popping up for no reason and I think, "Yeah, try a sentient demonic goo parasitic plauge and cry to me that some necromatic disease is spreading, or having an entire town fall into the nine hells then lets see how bad you think some heat wave is!"

I wanna go back to being some weak little snot that is always getting the crap kicked out of him, never being able to kill off anything, and having to run alot.
