Yeah, looks cool, but the plot sounds horribly lame.
Some kid finds bumblebee. (Yes, he's a Camaro, not a VW. Volkswagon didn't want to have anything to do with the movie) Bumblebee is sitting, all torn up looking in a junkyard somewhere, (as a 70's model Camaro). So, the kid buys him, takes him home and manages to rebuild him into something that looks like a 2005 showcar. He does all this without, apparently, realising that the car he bought is actually a giant robot with outer pannels on it that make it look like a car.
Oh, and the transformers are all on the earth looking for the mystical 'energon cube' an ancient artifact from Cybertron. So, the brilliant writers of this movie took what amounts to a gas tank (an energon cube) and turned it into the holy grail. Why not use the matrix ala the original animated movie if you need them to be looking for something?
Not getting my hopes up, even thought the robots should look cool.

Im optimistic about this film. It could go both ways. The teaser sucks, if you look there is blue sky and clouds on mars!! They have however gotten the guy who did the original voice over for prime to do it for the movie, that kicks some tale!! Now if they can get Megatron Ill be even more hopeful!! Yes Bumblebee is the camaro, only cause the turkeys at Volkswagon would not give over rights to use a bug
. They think if a bug turns into a robot with a gun that people will think Nazi crap.... morons.
The turtles movie looks good as well, corigraphed by the man himself MR. Yuen Woo Ping, mwahaha

Yup! It's the original Optimus Prime and Megatron. I just checked IMDB.
