CTS bug

My ranger companion, Ty, is acting strange. Since i did the CTS thing with him, when I summon him he appears ghostly and walks away. I say Ty Come and he comes to me and then disappears, completely, drops from the game. It says in the server messages that he is learning the command. Is it normal for them to be ghostly and disappear after about 30 seconds?

any help would be appreciated.

Did Ty die or drop to bleeding at any point?

no. not that i can rememeber. I haven't used him in a fight in quite awhile.
