Delivery quest invalidated by server transistion

Legewiel, while moving from Hala to Bastion, talked with an NPC on the great bridge ysgard side, and was asked to fetch an item.
Did that, long walk, came back, was somewhat running on auto and thus by accident portalled to Hala.
After portalling back, the NPC told her that she had allready engaged someone else for the day, thus basically telling Legs that the quest was broken now. .
