hey,i personally consider one of the greatest injustices in movie history to be that chewbacca did not receive a medal and a smile from the princess in the"triumph of the will"scene at the end of episode four.
... that's the sci-fi version of a bear hug. <.<
*flees*
Lucky, Tremayne! =)
Seeing how tall he is on the picture compared to Ford reminds me of a high school trip to Paramount Canada's Wonderland.
Went to a souvenir shop, turned a corner and went face to er... chest with Worf. Not really scary (he -is- a good Klingon, afterall!), just wasn't expecting to -literally- bump into him!

He's not like Zunya. Zunya would have pecked a few ears to get a medal, too!
... as a child... the story line was too complex for me to fully grasp it, but BOY was Luke CUTE! So I liked it.
... as an adult... I can now fully understand and appreciate and love the story, in both English AND French! WOOT! ... and I *still* think Luke's a cutie.
chewie!chewie!chewie!
***sigh***i never got to experience any of it as a child(creaking sound as the elderly person types). perhaps if i did i wouldn't be such a crotchety cynic about the whole subject.but now you've got me wondering...is it much different in french?oh,yes, and i've always admired leia for her mind...no,really
... well... aside from the spoken language (well the parts not in some alien language, anyway!), it's the same. Just that, a few years ago, I wouldn't have been able to grasp all of the humour and subtleties of the story and the dialogues in English as I could in French, French being my first language. Mind you, I probably still miss a lot of them today. =)
