My 'puter finally died for good. After I pay someone to get the data off it, I'll need to buy a new one. So what brands/types do people recommend? It has to be a laptop as I travel a lot. It obviously needs to run NWN well. It has to not cost a lot. The other stuff such as wireless capability, reasonably fast internet, ability to play CDs/DVDs, and enough memory for my writing and work database are I think pretty standard on computers now. I have an older printer and an older scanner and an older camera it has to like. I've had Toshibas up till now. Akai likes Dells. Thoughts? Thanks.
p.s.: I can still log in to the game but only on the sucky Craigslist backup 'puter, so I can talk but won't be any good in a fight. Which pretty much describes Lexy anyway.

I think I have a 2-3 year old HP you can have. It needs a new battery unless you don't mind leaving it plugged in all the time. It also needs an upgrade to Windows 7. I had a heck of a time getting it to run NWN, but I think that's Vista's fault. I bought it to run 3d modeling programs and those did just fine.
Its been gathering dust a while, but if you're interested I'll dig it out, clean it up and make sure everything still works.
